Chained by technical milestones, not by calendar: a phase opens only once the previous one completes. No promised dates.
Phase 1current
Predictor + contracts
- Weather predictor tested against the market, scored with Brier — paper-only.
- AUG-POC token + round registry (Foundry), tests and static analysis in CI.
- Read-only dashboard live; Arbitrum Sepolia testnet deployment in progress.
- Expected output: a written go/no-go on the edge before any real capital.
Phase 2upcoming
DAO MVP testnet
- Token governance (one vote per whole token, anti-cartel cap).
- First parametric contracts deployed on testnet.
- Oracle aggregator v1, mutualization pool in full collateralization.
Phase 3upcoming
Parametric mutual
- Mutualization pool, on-chain pricing signed by the predictor.
- Oracle settlement on NOAA / NWS observations.
- First categories: extreme temperature, precipitation, wind.
Phase 4long term
DePIN data layer
- Weather stations rewarded on data quality and coverage.
- Native Aratea oracle on selected areas, consumable by other protocols.
No pre-edge raise, no premature incorporation. The living detail lives in the repo and the white paper.
